MSW Inpatient Psych Pool

Location: SOUTH MILWAUKEE, WI

The MSW - pool is responsible for engaging patients and their families/significant others into the treatment process. As an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, the MSW - pool completes initial assessments; conducts individual, group and family therapy and participates in treatment planning and case management to assure that the needs of patients and families are met throughout the continuum of care. Additionally, the MSW - pool is responsible for triaging patients in the ED and consulting the on-call MD regarding appropriateness of admission.

Skills/Requirements

Current licensure in the State of Wisconsin as a Social Worker (MSW, APSW or LICSW); experience on a mental health unit highly desirable.
