RN Adult Medicine Clinic

Location: Racine, WI

The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and providing professional nursing care for patients in an ambulatory care setting. While following established standards and protocols, the Registered Nurse delivers care that is sensitive to the unique needs of the ages served by the department. Triages telephone calls demonstrating appropriate clinical judgment and intervention according to urgency of patient needs. The RN supervises and or delegates select aspects of care to other appropriate healthcare providers based on competency of the individual and the assessment and evaluation of the patient needs. The RN also assists with tasks necessary for the general management and organization of a physician practice/department.

This is a full-time float position working 36 hours a week. The hours could vary from 7 hour days to 9 hour days. Start and end times range from 7:00am to 8:30pm. This position requires flexibility to provide coverage to other departments and locations as needed.

Skills/Requirements

Graduate from a state accredited school of nursing with current Wisconsin licensure and two (2) years of experience preferred. Basic personal computer skills with keyboard knowledge preferred. Level III Basic Life Support required.
