Patient Care Assistant\ Monitor Tech

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Performs various service and technical duties necessary to provide for the comfort, care and safety of patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Provides care to patients of all ages. Assists in maintaining supplies and equipment on the nursing unit.
Provides continuous EKG monitoring surveillance notifying the RN of any rhythm changes; performs 12-lead EKGs.

Skills/Requirements

High School Diploma or equvialent required.Must hold Wisconsin State Certification.CPR certification perferred. Must have sufficient interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, visitors and hospital personnel. Must be able to observe changes in patient condition and determine when to notify an RN. Able to complete attached skills inventory
