The Radiology Extender I contributes to the enhanced productivity of the Imaging Department by acting as an assistant to the technical/clinical staff, performing non-technical and non-clinical duties including procedure room preparation and stocking of supplies, patient transport and transfer assistance, greeting and escorting patients, and processing paperwork.

This is a casual position (30 hours or less a pay period), day shift (10am-3pm), that includes an every other weekend rotation (8 hour shifts) that alternates between days and evenings.

Skills/Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certified Nursing Assistant certification required or other similar patient care experience.
CPR certification for the Health Care professional within 30 days of hire.
Good communication and time management skills required. Position requires physical stamina and strength as well as the ability to work efficiently under stressful conditions while maintaining expected standards of care.
