RN Pool B CPT

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Manages patients; plan of care collaborating with the Unit Leadership and other disciplines within the care team (i.e., completes/coordinates patient assessment, develops/monitors outcomes based plan of care, coordinates and implements plan of care, evaluates outcomes and monitors variances). Coordinates/collaborates consultations with physicians and other disciplines to ensure quality patient care.

Provides hands-on expert care to patients and is accountable for managing patient care in order to meet optimal outcomes. In this, the RN adheres to the Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare “Promises to Patients” that describe the commitment all employees make to every patient.

32 hrs/4-wk. schedule, 8 hrs./weekend, 1 holiday per year,
or,
16 hrs/weekend on pm's/nights, 1 holiday per year.

Skills/Requirements

Current licensure in the State of Wisconsin.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively and effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, and care team.
Good organization, delegation, and communication skills to facilitate efficient patient care.
Strong demonstrated ability in assessment, analytical decision-making, and critical thinking.
Leadership ability and communication skills. Familiarity with PC’s and computerized nursing systems and tools, or demonstrated ability to
learn.

2 years previous cardiac or critical care experience.
Telemetry/ACLS/BLS certification required.
