RN Intermediate Care

Location: Franklin, WI

The Registered Nurse is responsible to provide care in accordance with the American Nurses Association Standards of Practice and other standards established by profession/professional groups, regulating bodies/agents. Nursing care will be delivered in accordance with the Standards of Care and Practice.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision and coordination of nursing care to include the collection and analysis of assessment data in determining nursing diagnosis, identification of expected outcomes and development of plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family and other interdisciplinary team members as appropriate. The Registered Nurse identifies interventions to attain expected outcomes, implements the interventions identified in the plan of care, evaluates the progress of the patient/family toward attainment of outcomes, and documents the process. This care includes sensitivity to age specific and unique needs of the patient/family.

The Registered Nurse promotes and evaluates the effective functioning of the health care team. The Graduate Nurse/ Registered Nurse collaborates with health care team members to meet the identified needs of the patient/family throughout the episode of care. The Registered Nurse delegates tasks and activities as appropriate.

This a part-time 12 hour day shift position with an every third weekend and an every other holiday rotation. This is a benefit eligible position.

Occasional shift rotation may occur to meet patient care needs.

Skills/Requirements

Associate Degree in Nursing required. Bachelors preferred. Active WI RN license required. BLS upon hire, ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire. Telemetry and ACLS upon hire a plus. 2+ years of Intermediate/ Cardiac Nursing experience strongly desirable.
