RN Lead

Location: Brown Deer, WI

The RN Lead provides guidance and coordination of the daily activities of clinical associates in a specific department/site/location. Acts as a role model, trainer and mentor to new associates. Works with associates to identify, evaluate and recommend process improvements, to assure efficient operations and to meet clinical excellence and customer service expectations. Performs the RN role in area of responsibility.
Fast paced Family Practice office seeks self-motivated, energetic Registered Nurse to also fulfill triage nurse responsibilities. Med/Surg experience a must. Past telephone triage experience helpful. Triages phone calls regarding patient medical concerns, assesses the problem, determines the level of care necessary and advises patient on care according to protocols. Documents completely and appropriately in patient record. This individual will work under the
direct supervision of the clinic manager and physicians. Must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate an ability to teach and assist patients and staff.
No nights or weekends needed.

Skills/Requirements

Graduate of accredited Registered Nurse program.
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin.
Previous triage nursing helpful.
Advanced interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate with peers, patients, and physicians.
Ability to develop and facilitate educational offerings.
Must have exceptional organizational skills.
Phone Triage about 80% of the time.
Past ED experience needed.
