MDS Nurse

Location: Brookfield, WI

Uses nursing skill, knowledge and ability to assist with accurate MDS completion to ensure compliance with CMS guidelines while focusing on quality of care improvement and maximizing Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement.
Also assumes role of RN Supervisor for facility as needed 10% of the time.

Skills/Requirements

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required, B.S.N. preferred. 5-7 years of nursing preferred. Current professional RN Licensure in Wisconsin.
Thorough understanding of Medicare and PPS process.
Excellent Computer Skills to work with necessary MDS programs.
Working knowledge of MDS.
Working knowledge of Medicare.
Demonstrated critical thinking and independent decision making and problem solving.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft word, excel and outlook.
Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Ability to set priorities in ever changing work environment.
Has knowledge of adult principles of learning. Ability to motivate others.
Understands and demonstrates a commitment to customer service / service excellence.
